Is-sinjal għal PAZJENT għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal MA JIFLAĦX. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa u timsaħ (jew kważi) il-ġbin minn naħa għal oħra. Il-moħħ jitkemmex għal din il-parti tas-sinjal. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal PERSUNA. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ L kkurvata bil-pala tħares ’il barra u bis-swaba’ jippuntaw ’il barra. L-id tinżel dritt ’l isfel.
The sign for PATIENT has two parts. (i) First the sign for UNWELL is made. One hand takes the shape of 5 with palm facing inwards and wipes (or almost) the forehead, from one side to the other. The signer frowns. (ii) Then, the sign for PERSON is made. One hand takes the shape of curved L with palm facing outwards and fingers pointing outwards. The hand moves straight downwards.
