Is-sinjal għal PERIT isir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda titqiegħed mimduda quddiem il-qadd bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ P bil-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb. L-id titla’ quddiem livell għola mir-ras u tinżel ’l isfel lejn il-minkeb tal-id il-wieqfa imbagħad timxi tul id-driegħ mimdud. B’hekk il-moviment ikun ifforma L kbira. Dan is-sinjal jixbaħ l-ewwel parti tas-sinjal għal DISINJATUR TEKNIKU ħlief li l-forma tal-id hija dik ta’ P mhux dik ta’ F.
The sign for ARCHITECT is made with both hands. One hand lies along the waist with the palm facing downwards. The other hand takes the shape of P with palm facing the side and moves up to above head level. It then moves down towards the elbow of the stationary hand and then along the arm as though writing a large L. The sign resembles the first part of the sign for DRAUGHTSMAN except that the handshape is that for P and not F.
