Is-sinjal għal PERŻUT għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal LAĦAM. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 bis-swaba mifrudin u bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ T u bis-saba’ l-kbir u bil-werrej tiġbed il-laħam ta’ bejn is-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej tal-id il-wieqfa. (ii) Imbagħad, l-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 dritta. Id waħda tieqaf bil-pala tħares ’il fuq waqt li l-id l-oħra, bil-pala tħares ’il fuq, timxi t-tul tal-id il-wieqfa bi skoss, darbtejn jew iktar.
The sign for HAM has two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for MEAT. One hand takes the shape of 5 with fingers held apart and with the palm facing inwards. The other hand takes the shape of T and with the thumb and index finger pulls the flesh between the thumb and index finger of the stationary hand. (ii) Then the hands take the shape of straight 5. One hand is held stationary with palm facing upwards. The other hand, also with palm facing upwards, moves the length of the stationary hand twice with jerky movements.
