Is-sinjal għal PICNIC isir biż-żewġ idejn fil-ġnub. Is-saba’ l-kbir imiss il-werrej waqt li s-swaba’ l-oħra mifrudin u bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-idejn jogħlew mill-qadd (jew iktar ’l isfel) sal-livell tar-ras waqt li jduru lura biex il-pala tiġi tħares ’il barra. Qisu qed tinfirex xi tvalja.
The sign for PICNIC is made with both hands at the side. The thumb and index finger of each hand touch whilst the other fingers are apart. The palms face downwards. The hands move up from waist level (or lower) up to head level whilst the hands turn back so that the palm faces outwards. The movement resembles that of laying a tablecloth.
