Hemm żewġ sinjali għal PLUMBER. L-ewwel sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal XOGĦOL. Iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ ponn bil-pala ta kull id tħares laġenba u ponn wieħed jitqiegħed fuq l-ieħor. (ii) Imbagħad, iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ C bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-idejn jiltaqgħu fin-nofs, imbagħad jersqu lejn il-ġnub qishom qed jindikaw xi kanna.
It-tieni sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet ukoll. (i) L-ewwel parti l-istess bħat-tieni parti tal-ewwel sinjal. (ii) Għat-tieni parti id waħda togħla u tibdel il-forma billi s-swaba’ jinfetħu u jduru lejn is-saba’ ż-żgħir, qishom qed jagħlqu vit, u b’hekk jiffurmaw ponn laxk bis-saba’ l-kbir maħruġ li imbagħad jinżel ’l isfel djagonalment.
There are two signs for PLUMBER. The first sign has two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for WORK. This is made with both hands in the shape of a fist with the palms facing sideways. One fist is placed over the other. (ii) Then, both hands take the shape of C with palms facing downwards. The hands meet in the middle and move towards the sides as though indicating a pipe.
The second sign also has two parts. (i) The first part is the same as the second part of the first sign. (ii) For the second part, one hand is raised and changes shape so that the fingers open up and rotate towards the pinkie, as though closing a tap and thus forming a loose fist with the protruding thumb then moving down diagonally.
