Is-sinjal għal POPOLAZZJONI għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal DINJA. Dan isir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 kkurvata. Is-swaba’ tal-idejn imissu jew jirkbu ftit fuq xulxin u l-pala tħares ’l barra waqt li l-idejn jiffurmaw il-parti ta’ fuq ta’ ċirku quddiem il-wiċċ. L-idejn jitbiegħdu minn xulxin biex jiffurmaw ċirku sħiħ ’l isfel. Is-swaba’ jerġgħu jiltaqgħu u l-pala ta’ kull id tispiċċa tħares ’il fuq. (ii) Imbagħad l-idejn jingħalqu f’pala li ddur ’l isfel waqt li l-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 1 u jimxu lejn il-ġnub b’passi forma ta’ V.
The sign for POPULATION has two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for WORLD which is made with both hands. The hands take the shape of curved 5. The fingers of one hand overlap with those of the other hand a little and the palm faces outwards as the hands start to form the top part of a circle in front of the face. The hands move away from each other to form a circle downwards. The fingers end up in contact with each other but with the palms facing upwards. (ii) Then the hands close into fists and turn so that the palms face downwards as they take the shape of 1 and move towards the sides in V-shaped steps.
