Is-sinjal għal PUBBLIKATUR magħmul minn żewġ partijiet. (i) Fl-ewwel parti jsir is-sinjal għal KTIEB. Iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq u jitqiegħdu pala ma pala u bil-ponot tas-swaba’ jħarsu ’l barra. Imbagħad l-idejn jinfetħu biex il-pala ta’ kull id tiġi tħares ’il fuq waqt li l-ġnub tal-idejn jibqgħu flimkien momentarjament. (ii) Għat-tieni parti id waħda tibqa’ bil-forma ta’ 5 magħluq u tieqaf bil-pala ’l fuq. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ ponn bil-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb u tinżel f’daqqa fuq l-id il-wieqfa qisu biex tisstampaha.
The sign for PUBLISHER consists of two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for BOOK. Both hands take the shape of closed 5. They are placed palm against palm with the fingertips pointing outwards. The hands then open up such that the palms face upwards whilst the sides of the hand remain in contact momentarily. (ii) For the second part one hand keeps the shape of closed 5 and remains stationary with palm facing upwards. The other hand takes the shape of a fist with the palm facing the side. The hand moves down abruptly onto the stationary hand as though to stamp it.
