Is-sinjal għal QABEL isir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieqaf orizzontalment bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 u titqiegħed bil-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb u bis-saba’ ż-żgħir fuq il-polz tal-id il-wieqfa. Minn hemm l-id timxi ’l fuq mill-id il-wieqfa sakemm tasal ħdejn il-minkeb.
The sign for BEFORE is made with both hands. One hand is held stationary horizontally with palm facing downwards. The other hand takes the shape of 5 and is placed with palm facing sideways with the pinkie over the wrist of the stationary hand. Then, the hand moves over the stationary hand until it arrives near the elbow.
