Is-sinjal għal QARA jsir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieqaf forma ta’ 5 laxka bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ V bil-pala tħares ’il barra u timxi żigużajg ftit lura minn quddiem il-pala l-wieqfa imma tibda livell ftit ’il fuq u tibqa’ nieżla iktar ’l isfel minnha.
The sign for READ is made with both hands. One hand is held stationary in the shape of loose 5 with palm facing inwards. The other hand takes the shape of V with palm facing outwards. It zigzags some distance in front of the stationary palm but from a level above it and continues downwards, lower than it.
