Hemm żewġ sinjali differenti għal QARRIEQI. L-ewwel sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal GĦAMEL biż-żewġ idejn forma ta’ U. Is-swaba’ ta’ id jolqtu s-swaba’ tal-id l-oħra kif jiġu fuq xulxin. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal ĦAŻIN. L-id malajr tinbidel għall-forma ta’ I u timxi lejn il-ġenb bid-driegħ dritt ’l fuq imbagħad l-id toħroġ malajr ’il quddiem sakemm is-saba’ ż-żgħir jipponta djagonalment ’il barra. It-tieni sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet ukoll. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal DAĦAQ. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ L kurvata bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. Is-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej jitqiegħdu quddiem il-geddum imbagħad jitilgħu ’l fuq u jinżlu waqt li x-xoffa t’isfel titgħawweġ ’l isfel u l-ħalq jinfetaħ. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal BIJA. L-id iddur biex il-pala tiġi tħares lejn il-ġenb u l-werrej imiss is-sider.
There are two different signs for DECEITFUL. The first sign has two parts. (i) First, the sign for MAKE is made with both hands in the shape of U. The fingers of one hand hit those of the other as the hands cross over each other. (ii) Then the sign for BAD is made. The hand quickly changes to an I shape and moves towards the side with the arm straight up. The hand then moves quickly forward until the pinkie points diagonally outwards. The second sign also has two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for LAUGH. One hand takes the shape of curved L with the palm facing inwards. The thumb and the index fingers are placed in front of the chin and then move up and down whilst the lower lip is curled down and the mouth opens. (ii) Then the sign for AT ME is made. The hand turns so that the palm faces the side and the index finger touches the chest.
