Hemm erba’ sinjali jixxiebħu għal QMIS. L-ewwel sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet li jidħlu f’xulxin. (i) L-ewwel, l-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 milwija biex il-ponot tas-swaba’ jmissu jew kważi. Jaqbżu ftit lura minn taħt l-għonq u jinżlu ftit iktar lejn il-ġnub, qisu fejn wieħed ikollu l-għonq tal-ħwejjeġ. (ii) Imbagħad, l-idejn jimxu lura lejn in-nofs, id ftit ’il fuq mill-oħra, u jinżlu fin-nofs. It-tieni sinjal isir għandu żewġ partijiet ukoll. (i) L-ewwel, bis-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej tal-idejn imissu u s-swaba’ l-oħra mifrudin, l-idejn jibdew taħt l-għonq bil-pala ta’ id tħares lejn l-oħra. Is-swaba’ l-kbar u l-werrejja jersqu qrib xulxin fin-nofs. (ii) Fil-pront, id tinżel ftit iktar l-isfel mill-oħra waqt l-idejn jinbidlu għal forma ta’ L bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. Is-swaba’ tal-L jinfetħu u jingħalqu malajr ripetutament waqt li l-idejn jibqgħu niżlin fin-nofs. It-tielet sinjal isir bl-idejn forma ta’ L. Is-swaba’ tal-L jinżlu mill-ġnub tal-għonq lejn in-nofs u jkomplu sejrin ’l isfel. Is-swaba’ tal-L jinfetħu u jingħalqu fil-bidu wara li jaslu fin-nofs. Ir-raba’ sinjal isir biż-żewġ idejn bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa u bl-ewwel tlett iswaba’ jmissu u l-oħrajn magħluqin. It-tlett iswaba’ jħokku ma xulxin waqt li l-idejn jinżlu fin-nofs, id ftit ’l isfel mill-oħra.
There are four similar signs for SHIRT. The first sign has two parts that merge. (i) First, the hands take the shape of 5 but bent so that the fingertips are close together. The hands bounce back a little from below the neck and move a short distance towards the sides, to the place where the collar would be. (ii) Then, the hands move back to the middle, one below the other, and move downwards along the middle. The second sign also has two parts. (i) First, with the thumb and index finger touching and the other fingers apart, the hands start below the neck with palms facing each other. The thumbs and index fingers move towards each other in the middle. (ii) One hand quickly moves below the other whilst the hands change to the shape of L with palms facing inwards. The L fingers open and close quickly and repeatedly whilst the hands continue downwards in the middle. The third sign is made with both hands in the shape of L. The L fingers move down from the sides of the neck to the middle and continue downwards. The L fingers open and close at first after they reach the middle. The fourth sign is made with both hands with palms facing inwards. The first three fingers touch and the others are closed. The fingers rub each other as the hands move downwards in the middle, one hand a little below the other.
