Is-sinjal għal RAGĦAJ jikkonsisti fi tliet partijiet. (i) Fl-ewwel parti jsir is-sinjal għal RAĠEL. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ Ċ bil-pala tħares ’l isfel u titqiegħed quddiem il-ġbin. Il-forma taċ-Ċ tingħalaq waqt li l-id tersaq ’il quddiem. (ii) Fit-tieni parti ssir is-sinjal għal ĦA ĦSIEB. Dan isir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq u titwaqqaf bil-pala tħares ’il fuq. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq u milwi bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. Is-swaba’ jmissu jew kważi jmissu l-ġenb tal-ġbin. L-id imbagħad tinżel għal fuq l-id il-wieqfa. Il-wiċċ jkun jidher ftit ħosbien bit-tikmix tal-ġbin. (iii) Fit-tielet parti jsir is-sinjal għal NAGĦĠA. L-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 1 bil-pala tal-id tħares lejn il-ġenb tar-ras u bil-werrej idur f’ċirku maġenb ir-ras fl-għoli tax-xagħar. Kultant tintuża id waħda biss.

The sign for SHEPHERD consists of three parts. (i) The first part is the sign for MAN. One hand takes the shape of Ċ with palm facing downwards. The hand is placed in front of the forehead. The C shape closes as the hand moves forward. (ii) The second part is the sign for LOOK AFTER. This is made with two hands in the shape of closed 5. One is placed stationary with the palm facing upwards. The other hand takes the shape of closed, bent 5 with the palm facing inwards. The fingers touch or almost touch the side of the forehead. The hand then moves down onto the stationary hand. The face expresses thoughtfulness by means of a creased forehead. (iii) The third part is the sign for SHEEP. Both hands take the shape for 1 with palms facing the side of the head, and the index finger making a circular movement around the side of the head. Sometimes the sign is made with one hand only.
