Is-sinjal għal RUGBY għandu tlett partijiet. L-ewwel parti ssir biż-żewġ idejn faċċata ta’ xulxin, bis-swaba’ mifrudin u estiżi rigidi. L-idejn iduru u jersqu lura minn fejn xulxin u s-swaba’ jingħalqu qisu biex jindikaw il-forma tal-ballun tar-rugby. L-idejn ittundjati, id fuq l-oħra, jitqiegħdu ħdejn l-abt qisu l-ballun qed jinżamm hemm waqt li l-wiċċ jisserja u l-ħugbejn jitkemmxu. Fl-aħħar, l-ewwel spalla, imbagħad l-oħra, ddur ’il quddiem. Dan il-moviment, jew il-moviment bl-ewwel spalla biss, jiġi ripetut.
The sign for RUGBY has three parts. The first part is made with both hands facing each other and fingers held apart, stretched rigidly. The hands move round and back from each other and the fingers close as though indicating the shape of the rugby ball. The hands become rounded, one hand over the other, and are placed near the armpit as though the ball is being held there whilst the face becomes serious and the eyebrows crease. Finally, first one shoulder, then the other, turns forwards. This movement or the movement of only one shoulder is repeated.
