Hemm żewġ sinjali għal RUMANI. L-ewwel sinjal isir sinjal isir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 miftuħ stirat bis-swaba’ mifrudin. Il-pala ta’ kull id tħares lejn il-ġenb. L-idejn jitqiegħdu wieqfa fuq ir-ras waħda quddiem l-oħra. L-id ta’ wara timxi lura. It-tieni sinjal isir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ C żgħira magħluqa. Is-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej jimxu mill-ġenb tar-ras għal-quddiem fuq il-moħħ qishom qed juru xi strixxa marbuta mar-ras. Hemm varjazzjoni oħra magħmula minn żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel parti issir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ 4 u timxi bil-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb minn fuq ir-ras għall-quddiem. (ii) Imbagħad id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ ponn bil-pala tħares ’il fuq waqt li l-id tintefa’ stirata ’l quddiem mill-minkeb qisu qed iżżomm xi arma.
There are two signs for ROMANS. The first sign is made with both hands that take the shape of open stretched out 5 with fingers apart. The palm of each hand faces sideways. The hands are placed upright over the head, one in front of the other. The hand at the back moves further back. The second sign is made with one hand in the shape of small closed C. The thumb and the index finger move along from the side of the head to the front over the forehead as though indicating a headband. A variation of the sign consists of two parts. (i) The first part is made with one hand that takes the shape of 4 and, with the palm facing sideways, moves from over the head to the front. (ii) Then one hand takes the shape of a fist with the palm facing upwards whilst the hand stretches forward and out as though holding some arms.
