Hemm żewġ sinjali differenti għal SAJJAR. L-ewwel sinjal isir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieqaf ’il barra fuq quddiem forma ta’ 5 bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ T u togħla mill-minkeb biex tkun għola mill-ewwel pala. L-id iddur orizzontalment mill-polz qisu qed tħawwad xi ħaġa b’xi mgħarfa kbira. Dan is-sinjal jintuża biex jirreferi għat-tisjir ġenerali jew għal ħami tal kejkijiet. It-tieni sinjal jixbaħ is-sinjal għal QELA. Dan isir b’id waħda forma ta’ T li ddur mill-polz waqt li l-minkeb jinżamm għoli.

There are two different signs for COOK. The first sign uses both hands. One hand is held stationary outwards at the front in the shape of 5 with palm facing inwards. The other hand takes the shape of T and is help up at the elbow so that it is higher than the first palm. The hand rotates horizontally at the wrist as though stirring with a large spoon. This sign is used as the neutral sign for cook or to refer to baking cakes. The second sign is similar to that for FRY. This is made with one hand in the shape of T that rotates at the wrist whilst the elbow is held high.
