Is-sinjal għal SAUCE għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel parti tixbaħ is-sinjal għal ŻEJT. Isir b’id waħda forma ta’ A bis-saba’ l-kbir maħruġ u bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-id tmil biex is-saba’ l-kbir iħares ’l isfel waqt li jdur dawra fin-nofs. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal AĦMAR. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 u l-werrej jimxi minn naħa għall-oħra tax-xoffa t’isfel.
The sign for SAUCE has two parts. (i) The first part resembles the sign for OIL. It is made with one hand in the shape of A with thumb extended and with palm facing downwards. The hand bend over so that the thumb points downwards whilst it goes round once in the middle. (ii) Then the sign for RED is made. One hand takes the shape of 1 and the index finger moves from one side to the other of the lower lip.
