Hemm żewġ sinjali jixxiebħu għal SEKONDA. L-ewwel sinjal isir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieqaf orizzontalment mill-minkeb bl-id ġieli ftit mitluqa ’l isfel u bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ F imma bil-werrej u s-saba’ l-kbir jiffurmaw ċirku żgħir u bis-swaba’ l-oħra kkurvati. Is-swaba’ forma ta’ ċirku jinżlu fuq il-polz tal-id il-wieqfa u jitilgħu malajr. Il-forma tal-id fit-tieni sinjal hi dik ta’ 1. Għalhekk il-moviment mgħaġġel għal fuq il-polz isir bil-werrej.
There are two very similar signs for A SECOND. The first sign is made with both hands. One hand is held stationary horizontally from the elbow with the hand itself floppy and the palm facing downwards. The other hand takes the shape of F but with the index finger and thumb forming a small circle and the other fingers curved. The circle-formed fingers move down onto the wrist and back up quickly. The form of the hand in the second sign is that for 1. So the quick movement onto and away from the wrist is made by the index finger.
