Is-sinjal għal SINAGOGA magħmul minn żewġ partijiet. (i) Fl-ewwel parti jsir is-sinjal għal KNISJA. L-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq bil-pala ta’ id tħares lejn l-oħra. Is-swaba’ jistrieħu kontra xulxin u l-idejn jiffurmaw V bil-maqlub. (ii) Fit-tieni parti jsir is-sinjal għal LHUDI. Dan isir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ 1. L-id tibda minn ħdejn il-ġenb tar-ras bil-pala tħares laġenba u sserrep ’l isfel.
The sign for SYNAGOGUE consists of two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for CHURCH. The hands take the shape of closed 5 with palms facing each other. The fingers lean against each other so that the hands form an upside-down V shape. (ii) The second part is the sign for JEW. It is made with one hand in the shape of 1. The hand is placed at the side of the head with palm facing sideways and the index finger spins downwards.
