Hemm erba’ sinjali għal SINK. L-ewwel sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) Iż-żewġ idejn jiltaqgħu fuq quddiem forma ta’ 5 bil-pala tħares ’il fuq. L-idejn jimxu lejn il-ġenb u jitilgħu ’l fuq biex jiffurmaw nofs ċirku. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal ĦASEL IDEJH. L-idejn jimxu fuq u taħt xulxin djagonalment. It-tieni sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel parti hi l-istess bħat-tieni sinjal. (ii) It-tieni parti l-istess bħat-tieni parti tal-ewwel sinjal. It-tielet sinjal jixbaħ dak għal VIT jew ILMA li jsir biż-żewġ idejn bl-ewwel tlett iswaba’ maħruġin u t-tnejn l-oħra magħluqin. It-tlett iswaba’ jinfirdu u jikkurvaw u jduru darbtejn fil-post qishom qed jiftħu xi vit. Ir-raba’ sinjal ukoll għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel parti hi l-istess bħat-tieni sinjal. (ii) It-tieni parti hi s-sinjal għal TOILET. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ U mgħawġa, titla’ fil-ġenb tar-ras u tinżel ftit bi skoss.
There are four signs for SINK. The first sign has two parts. (i) Both hands meet at the front in the shape of 5 with palms facing upwards. The hands move towards the sides and then upwards to form a half circle. (ii) Then the sign for WASH HANDS is made. The hands move over and under each other diagonally. The second sign has two parts. (i) The first part is made like the second sign. (ii) Then, the second part of the first sign is made. The third sign resembles that for TAP or WATER made with both hands with the first three fingers extended and the other two closed. The three fingers move apart and curve and then rotate twice in place as though opening a tap. The fourth sign also has two parts. (i) The first part is made like the second sign. (ii) The second part is like that for TOILET. One hand takes the shape of curved U, moves up to the side of the head and then makes an abrupt move downwards.
