Is-sinjal għas SUPRETENDENT għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal KAP. Is-sinjal ta’ KAP isir b’ id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ K u ttaptap xi darbtejn fuq l-ispalla tan-naħa l-oħra. (ii) Imbagħad, l-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5. Jibdew bil-pala tħares ’il barra u s-swaba’ ’il fuq. Imbagħad iduru ’l isfel u ’l ġewwa biex il-pala tiġi tħares ’il ġewwa.
The sign for SUPERINTENDENT has two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for HEAD. This is made with one hand that takes the shape for K (the first letter of the Maltese word “kap” for “boss”) and taps twice or more on the other shoulder. (ii) Then both hands take the shape of 5. The hands start at the sides with palms facing outwards and then turn down and inwards so the palms face inwards.
