The sign for DOCKYARD consists of two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for SHIP usually shortened by omitting the movement. The hands take the shape of closed 5 with palms facing half sideways and half inwards. The fingers of one hand touch the fingers of the other hand. (ii) In the second part, one hand is held still in front, at the side, with palm facing sideways and forming the classifier for the second part of the sign. The other hand takes the shape of T with palm facing half sideways and half inwards. The hand rotates as though it is holding a tool like a screwdriver.
