Hemm żewġ sinjali differenti għal TELF. Is-sinjal prinċipali jsir bl-idejn forma ta’ 5 li jibdew qrib is-sider bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa u bis-swaba’ mrikkbin fuq xulxin. L-idejn jitbiegħdu f’daqqa lejn il-ġnub u pala tiġi tħares lejn l-oħra. It-tieni sinjal isir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ A bis-saba’ l-kbir maħruġ ’il barra. L-id tinżel bis-saba’ l- kbir imdawwar djagonalment ’l isfel u bil-pala tħares ’il barra.
There are two different signs for LOSS. The prinicipal sign is made with both hands in the shape of 5 close to the chest with palms facing inwards and fingers overlapping. The hands suddenly move away from each other towards the side and palms end up facing each other. The second sign is that for ‘thumbs down’. The hand takes the shape of A with thumb protruding. The hand moves down with the thumb turned diagonally downwards and palm facing outwards.
