Is-sinjal għal TORNADO isir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieqaf livell tal-qadd bil-pala tħares ’l isfel waqt li s-swaba’ jippuntaw lejn il-ġenb. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ WIEĦED bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa qisha qed tistrieħ fuq l-id il-wieqfa li timxi quddiemha. L-id iddur bil-werrej iħares ’il fuq waqt li l-id timxi lejn il-ġenb imbagħad iddur lura u terġa’ tirrepeti l-moviment.
The sign for TORNADO is made with both hands. One hand is held stationary with palm facing downwards and fingers pointing to the side. The other hand takes the shape of ONE with palm facing inwards as it appears to rest on the stationary hand which simply moves along in front of the arm. The hand moves with the index finger pointing upwards whilst it spins round whilst the hand moves towards the side, then spins back and repeats the movement.
