Is-sinjal għal TURISTI għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal PERSUNI b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-id iteptep fl-arja ftit waqt li timxi lejn il-ġenb. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal VAGANZA. L-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 miftuħa bis-swaba’ jifrudin. L-idejn jitqiegħdu waħda kull naħa, livell taħt l-ispalla, bil-pala tħares laġenba. Is-swaba’ jperpru waqt li l-idejn jinżammu fil-post permezz tas-swaba’ l-kbar li ma jiċċaqalqux, qishom mqabbda mal-ħwejjeġ.
The sign for TOURISTS has two parts. (i) First, the sign for PERSONS is made with one hand in the shape of 5 with palm facing downwards. The hand taps on the air whilst it moves towards the side. (ii) Then, the sign for HOLIDAY is made with both hands in the form of open 5 with fingers apart. The hands are placed, one on each side, below the level of the shoulders, with palm facing sideways. The fingers flutter whilst the hands are held in place by means of the stationary thumb, as though tied to the clothes.
