Is-sinjal għal XATT isir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 miftuħ u bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. Id waħda mitluqa ’l quddiem mill-minkeb u l-id l-oħra stirata u timxi minn ftit ’il fuq mill-id l-oħra f’nofs ċirku ’l quddiem u lura waqt li s-swaba’ jinfetħu. L-ewwel id tistira ftit. Is-sinjal jgħaqqad is-sinjali għal ART u BAĦAR flimkien.
The sign for SHORE is made with both hands in the shape of open 5 with palms facing downwards. One hand lies stationary at the front whilst the other hand is stretched and moves from above the other hand forming a half circle to the front and to the other side whilst the fingers move apart. The first hand stretches out to form the other end of the shore. The sign joins the signs for GROUND and for SEA together.
