Is-sinjal għal XLENDI għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel, id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 bil-pala tħares ’l isfel u tikteb X kbira fl-arja. (ii) Imbagħad l-id tinbidel għall-forma ta’ 5 bil-pala tħares ’l isfel u tinżel malajr ’l isfel u ’l barra. Dan il-moviment jirrapreżenta lil persuna taqbeż fil-baħar.
The sign for XLENDI has two parts. (i) First, one hand takes the shape of 1 with palm facing downwards and draws a large X in the air. (ii) Then the hand changes to the shape of 5 with palm facing downwards and moves down and outwards quickly. This movement represents a person jumping into the sea.
