Is-sinjal għal ZOO għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal RA jew ĦARES. Isir b’id waħda forma ta’ V bil-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb. Il-werrej imiss taħt l-għajn u l-id timxi ’l barra u ddur lura lejn il-ġenb. (ii) It-tieni parti hija s-sinjal għal ANNIMAL. Dan isir b’id waħda wieqfa mill-minkeb. Il-werrej u s-saba’ ż-żgħir jistiraw ’l fuq. Fl-istess ħin is-swaba’ tan-nofs imissu s-saba’ l-kbir waqt li jistiraw ’l barra. L-id timxi ftit lejn in-nofs.
The sign for ZOO has two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for SEE or LOOK. It is made with one hand in the shape of V with palm facing the side. The index finger touches under the eye and the hand moves forwards and then turns towards the side. (ii) The second part is the sign for ANIMAL. This is made with one hand held upright elbow up. The index finger and the pinkie are stretched straight up whilst the middle fingers touch the thumb as they stretch out. The hand moves a little towards the middle.
