Hemm żewġ sinjali differenti għal ĊINTURIN. L-ewwel sinjal isir biż-żewġ idejn forma ta’ L mgħawweġ. Id waħda tieqaf fuq quddiem bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-id l-oħra, ukoll bil-pala tħares ’l isfel, timxi mill ġenb sas-swaba’ tal-id il-wieqfa. Iddur kemm kemm ’l isfel kif tasal fejn l-id il-wieqfa, imbagħad tingħalaq f’ponn u ddur biex il-pala tħares ’il fuq u timxi lura lejn il-ġenb. It-tieni sinjal isir bl-idejn forma ta’ L kkurvata li jimxu mill-ġnub tal-qadd san-nofs sakemm jiltaqgħu s-swaba’ tal-L.

There are two different signs for BELT. The first sign is made with both hands in the shape of bent L. One hand is held stationary with palm facing downwards. The other hand, also with palm facing downwards, moves from the side up to the fingers of the stationary hand. It turns a little downwards as it reaches the stationary hand and then closes into fist shape and turns so that the palm faces upwards and finally moves back to the side. The second sign is made with both hands in the shape of curved L that move from the sides of the waist to the middle, until the L fingers meet.
