Hemm żewġ sinjali għal IĊ-ĊIRKEWWA. L-ewwel sinjal juża ż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 stirata u titqiegħed quddiem bil-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb f’linja djagonali. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ Ċ livell ma’ l-ispalla u bil-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb imbagħad tinbidel fil-forma ta’ 5 stirata u tinżel lejn l-id l-oħra biex il-ponot tas-swaba’ jiltaqgħu u l-idejn jimxu flimkien ’il quddiem. It-tieni sinjal magħmul minn żewġ partijiet. Fl-ewwel parti jsir is-sinjal għall-ittra Ċ. Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal GĦAWDEX. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ U bil-pala ta’ l-id tħares ’l isfel. L-id timxi f’forma kkurvata minn-nofs għall-ġenb. Dan il-moviment ifakkar fil-mewġ. Dan is-sinjal jixbaħ ħafna s-sinjal għal BAĦAR li jsir bl-id forma ta’ 5 magħluq jimxi lejn il-ġenb.
There are two signs for CIRKEWWA. The first sign uses both hands. One hand takes the shape of stretched out 5 and is placed at the front with the palm facing the side diagonally. The other hand takes the shape of C with palm facing the side and moves from shoulder level to the other hand. The fingertips meet and the hands move on a little forward together. The second sign consists of two parts. The first sign is that for the letter Ċ. The sign for GOZO is made in the second part. This is made with one hand in the shape of U with palm facing downwards. The hand moves curvedly from the middle to the side. This movement reminds one of waves. This sign resembles that for SEA which is made with the hand in a closed 5 shape moving towards the side.
