Is-sinjal għal IĊĊEKKJA huwa l-istess bħas-sinjal għal EŻAMINA. Għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel parti ssir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa jew lejn il-ġenb. Il-werrej imiss taħt l-għajn. (ii) L-id mill-ewwel tibdel il-forma għal dik ta’ Y waqt li toħroġ ftit ’il quddiem u titbandal kemm kemm laġenba waqt li tinżel kemm kemm ’l isfel. Ir-ras ġieli tmil ’il quddiem waqt li jkun qed isir is-sinjal.
The sign for CHECK is the same as that for EXAMINE. It has two parts. (i) The first part is made with one hand that takes the shape of 1 with the palm facing inwards or sideways as the index finger touches just under the eye. (ii) The hand immediately changes into a Y shape as it moves forward a little and swings slightly sideways as it moves slightly downwards. The head is often bent forward as the sign is being made.
