The sign for JAM is made with both hands. One hand takes the shape of 5 with the thumb bent in front of the palm which faces inwards. The hand is held stationary at the front. The other hand takes the shape of U but with fingers pointing downwards. The two fingers rotate a little inside the space between the thumb and palm of the stationary hand. The lips are pressed firmly together as though articulating the sound for ‘m’.
