Is-sinjal għal ĠARDINAR għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel, iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ F bis-swaba’ mifrudin u jimxu ’l isfel waqt li l-idejn iferfru. (ii) It-tieni parti ssir b’id waħda forma ta’ 5 magħluqa, mimduda bil-pala tħares ’l isfel, waqt li l-id l-oħra, forma ta’ 5 bis-swaba’ mifrudin, tistrieħ mill-minkeb fuq il-wiċċ tal-id wieqfa bil-pala tħares ’il barra. L-id iddur biex il-pala tiġi tħares ’il ġewwa waqt li d-driegħ jixxengel lejn in-naħa l-oħra.
The sign for GARDENER consists of two parts. (i) First, both hands take the shape of F with fingers apart. The fingers flutter as the hands move down. (ii) Then one hand takes the shape of closed 5 and lies, palm facing downwards. The other hand takes the shape of 5 with fingers apart and palm facing outwards and rests the elbow on the top of the stationary hand. The hand rotates so that the palm faces inwards whilst the arm leans over to the other side.
