Is-sinjal għal ĠNIEN għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal KAMRA. Iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 1 u jersqu f’linja dritta min-nofs għall-ġenb, imbagħad jimxu lura u fl-aħħar għan-nofs lejn xulxin. Is-sinjal għal KAMRA ġieli jiġi mqassar jew ma jintużax. (ii) Fit-tieni parti jsir is-sinjal għal SIĠRA b’id waħda li timtedd bil-pala tħares ’l isfel waqt li l-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 miftuħa u kkurvata. Din l-id tiċċaqlaq fil-post mill-minkeb ’il fuq waqt li s-swaba’ jferfru. Ġieli l-ewwel parti tas-sinjal isir wara t-tieni parti.
The sign for GARDEN is made up of two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for ROOM which is made with both hands in the shape of 1. The hands move in a straight line from the middle to the sides and then move backwards and finally towards each other in the middle. The sign for ROOM is sometimes shortened or omitted. (ii) The second part is the sign for TREE. One hand lies with palm facing downwards whilst the other hand takes the shape of a slightly open clawed 5 and shakes from the elbow up whilst the fingers flutter. The first part of the sign sometimes follows the second part.
