Is-sinjal għal ĦALL għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel parti ssir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ ponn laxka bil-pala tħares ’l isfel waqt li l-ħalq jinfetaħ u l-wiċċ jitqarras. Id waħda titqiegħed ftit iktar ’l isfel mill-oħra li tmissha mill-ġenb hi u titla’ ’l fuq. (ii) Din l-id tibqa’ tiela’ djagonalment ’il fuq waqt li tinfetaħ u s-swaba’ jinfirdu u s-saba’ tan-nofs imiss malajr ix-xoffa ta’ taħt. Ir-ras tintefa’ ftit lura f’salt.
The sign for VINEGAR has two parts. (i) The first part is made with both hands that take the shape of a loose fist with palms facing downwards whilst the mouth is open and the face grimaces. One hand is placed a little lower than the other which touches it at the side as it moves upwards. (ii) This hand continues diagonally upwards whilst it opens up and the fingers move apart. The middle finger quickly touches the lower lip. The head is thrown back a little.
