Hemm żewġ sinjali għal ĦALLAS. L-ewwel wieħed isir b’id waħda li tinġibed lura u ’l isfel mill-minkeb waqt li s-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej jinfetħu u jingħalqu waqt li l-id iddur xi tlett darbiet. It-tieni sinjal isir biż-żewġ idejn li jiffurmaw ponn laxk bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa u jitqiegħdu qrib xulxin fuq quddiem. Id waħda tieqaf waqt li l-oħra tagħti skossi żgħar kemm kemm ’il quddiem waqt li s-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej joħorġu kemm kemm.
There are two sign for PAY. The first is made with one hand that is pulled back and downwards from the elbow whilst the thumb and index finger open and close as the hand rotates about three times. The second sign is made with both hands that take the shape of a loose fist with palm facing inwards. They are placed close to each other at the front. One hand is held stationary whilst the other moves very slightly forwards whilst the thumb and index finger make small jerky movements.
