Biex wieħed jirreferi għal shopping centre, frażi komposta mis-sinjali għal POST, FEJN, ĦAFNA u ĦANUT isir.

The sign for SHOP consists of two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for ESTABLISHMENT. This is made with both hands in the shape of 1 with palms facing outwards. The index fingers touch and then move away to the side and then downwards to form right angles. (ii) The second part is the sign for MONEY, that is, one or two hands form the letter T and the thumb and index finger rub against each other gently whilst retaining the shape of T.

In the case of a particular shop e.g. CLOTHES SHOP, BAKERY, STATIONERY the sign for CLOTHES or BREAD or NEWSPAPER is made after the sign for SHOP.

To refer to shopping centre the phrase made up of the signs for PLACE, WHERE, MANY and SHOP is used.
