Is-sinjal għal ĦANŻIR isir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 ikkurvat bil-pala ’l ġewwa filwaqt li tgħatti l-ħalq u l-imnieħer. L-id iddur f’ċirku żgħir mal-ħalq mingħajr ma tibdel il-forma.

The sign for PIG is made with one hand in the shape of curved 5 covering the nose and mouth, palm inwards. The hand makes a small circular movement without changing its shape.
To refer to a piglet or large pig, the signs for SMALL or BIG are made with both hands in the shape of C with palms facing each other in a horizontal direction. The distance between the two hands indicates the relative size of the pig. The signs for SMALL or BIG are made after the sign for PIG.
