Is-sinjal għal ĦELIKOPTER isir b’id waħda li titqiegħed fuq il-livell tar-ras u li tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 bil-werrej iħares dritt ’il fuq. Il-werrej idur fuq il-pjan orizzontali mingħajr ma jċaqlaq id-driegħ ħafna. Dan ifakkar fl-iskrun idur fuq il-helikopter.
The sign for HELICOPTER is made with one hand at head level and in the shape of 1 with the index finger pointing upwards. The index finger rotates on the horizontal plane with only minimal movement of the arm. This reminds one of the rotating rotor blades of the helicopter.
