Is-sinjal għal ĦEMA għandu tlett partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal ĦELU b’id waħda forma ta’ 1 bil-ponta tal-werrej iddur fl-istess post fuq il-ħadd. (ii) Imbagħad l-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ C miftuħa fuq quddiem ftit ’il bogħod minn xulxin bil-pala ta’ id tħares lejn l-oħra. (iii) Fl-aħħar isir is-sinjal għal FORN. L-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 bil-pala tħares ’il fuq u jimxu flimkien ’il quddiem.
The sign for BAKE has three parts. (i) First the sign for SWEET is made with one hand in the shape of 1 with the index finger twisting round in the same place on the cheek. (ii) Then the hands take the shape of open C at the front with palms facing each other some distance away. (iii) Finally the sign for OVEN is made. The hands take the shape of 5 with palms facing upwards. The hands move forward together.
