Hemm tlett sinjali għal ĦIELES jew ĦIELSA. L-ewwel sinjal jibda bħas-sinjal għal ĦABS biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ ponn maħlul. Il-polz ta’ id tistrieħ kontra l-polz tal-id l-oħra biex pala ta’ id tiġi tħares ’il fuq u l-oħra ’l isfel. L-idejn jinħallu u jimxu malajr lejn il-ġnub. It-tieni sinjal hu l-istess bħas-sinjal għal VAGANZA. L-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 bis-swaba mifrudin. L-idejn jitqiegħdu waħda kull naħa, livell taħt l-ispalla, bil-pala tħares laġenba. Is-swaba’ jperpru waqt li l-idejn jinżammu fil-post permezz tas-swaba’ l-kbar li ma jiċċaqalqux, qishom mqabbda mal-ħwejjeġ. It-tielet sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal VAGANZA bħat-tieni sinjal. (ii) Imbagħad l-idejn iduru biex l-uċuħ tal-idejn jiġu jmissu waqt li l-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb. Imbagħad jimxu malajr ’l isfel u lejn i-ġnub.
There are three signs for FREE. The first sign is the sign for PRISON which is made with both hands in the shape of a very loose fist. The wrist of one hand leans against the other wrist such that one palms faces upwards and the other downwards. The hands then move away quickly from each other to the sides. The second sign is the same as that for HOLIDAY. It is made with both hands in the form of open 5 with fingers apart. The hands are placed, one on each side, below the level of the shoulders, with palm facing sideways. The fingers flutter whilst the hands are held in place by means of the stationary thumbs, as though tied to the clothes. The third sign has two parts. (i) First the sign for HOLIDAY is made as in the second sign. Then the hands turn so that the tops of the hands touch as the palms face the sides. Then the hands move quickly downwards and to the sides.
