Hemm żewġ sinjali għal ŻRINĠ. L-ewwel sinjal jibda b’id waħda forma ta’ ponn laxk imqiegħed quddiem il-geddum bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. Il-ponn jinħall bil-werrej u s-saba’ tan-nofs jestendu dritti ’l barra kif l-id tinżel bi skoss.
It-tieni sinjal isir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 u timtedd mal-għoli tas-sider. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 kkurvat u taqbeż darbtejn fuq l-ewwel id. Il-ponot tas-swaba’ imissu d-driegħ l-ieħor. L-ewwel qabża tasal fuq is-swaba’ tal-id l-oħra, waqt it-tieni tasal fuq nofs id-driegħ u t-tielet qabża tasal qrib il-minkeb.

There are two signs for FROG. The first sign starts with the hand in the shape of a loose fist placed under the chin with the palm facing downwards. The fist loosens with the pointer and middle fingers extending straight outwards as the hand moves down with a jerk.
The second sign is made with both hands. One hand takes the shape of 5 lying horizontally at chest level. The other hand, in a curved 5 shape, jumps twice onto the other arm and lands on the fingers. The hand reach half way along the arm at the second jump and the end of the lower arm at the third jump.
The sign for a small or a big frog is the sign for FROG followed by the sign for SMALL or BIG made with the two hands in the shape of 1 or of closed Ċ, moving away from each other according to the desired size. The distance between the hands indicates the size of the frog.
The sign for MANY is used after the sign for FROG to indicate plurality. A classifier is sometimes used: one or both X shaped hands are placed at various points in the signing space as though several frogs were being placed there.
When the noun FROG is the subject of a verb of movement the X shaped hand is used as a classifier and the hand moves accordingly.
